Playstation 3 Instructions/HelpNOTE: The X-Arcade™ comes with a USB connection for PC, but this will not work on the PS3. You need the PS3 adapter for PS3 play.
Connection:
- Connect PS3 adapter to PS2 adapter's P1 connector. (for duals connect 2nd PS3 adapter to PS2 adapter's P2 connector also)
- Connect one side of serial cable (included with all X-Arcade™ controllers) to PS2 adapter.
- Connect other side of serial cable to X-Arcade™ controller.
- With PS3 console on, connect PS3 adapter's USB connector(s) to any port on the PS3.
- Lights on PS3 adapter will begin blinking. Press Select+Start to make blinking stop (for duals do the same for player 2 side).
Usage: - Select+Start on the X-Arcade™ = the PS button on the PS3 gamepad. You will need to press Select+Start when you first plug in the controller or turn on the system, and when you want to access PS3 menus during gameplay. Anytime you see "Press the PS Button" you will press Select+Start on the X-Arcade™. (You cannot turn on the PS3 system with the X-Arcade™)
- To reassign controllers, (using the
controller you want to reassign) go to "Settings" in the Cross Media
Bar (XMB), go to "Accessory Settings", and choose "Reassign
Controllers". Simply change to the number you prefer.
- Some games can only be controlled with the controller assigned to controller 1. If the game will not start, reassign the controller as mentioned below.
- To switch between Analog and Digital modes during a PS1 or PS2 game, press Select+Start, choose "Controller Settings" then "Switch Analog Mode". You can also reassign controllers here.
PS2 Games Only:
Lights on PS3 adapter indicates controller assignment:
Blue = Player 1
Red = Player 2
Yellow = Player 3
Green = Player 4
Troubleshooting: If you are having problems after using the instructions above, try eliminating what is the cause by trying the following:
1. Try the controller on the PC with our test program. 2. Try the controller on a Playstation 2 consoles (if available). 3. Try a PS2 gamepad on the PS3 adapter, simply press the Analog button on the PS2 gamepad to initiate it. Let us know which does not work.
