The upcoming film looks to be a spot-on translation of the first game, right down to the characters, the mannequin monsters, the pea-soup fog, and the creeping sense of dread. Fans will doubtlessly be intrigued by the film's lush visual style.

Mortal Kombat™ Armageddon - Every Kombatant, ever!
Move over Trilogy, MK: Armageddon will feature ALL the previous kombatants from every Mortal Kombat™ game ever, even bosses like Motaro and rare characters like Rain. Rumor has it that a lot, maybe even all, of the stages from the previous games will also be returning.
And if you too were a fan of the Shaolin Monks game , the new Konquest System mode will be based upon it's fast paced gameplay engine.
Another big feature is the expansion of the new Fatality system. Now instead of just watching a Fatality act out like a movie or play, instead you will be able to control every step in the Fatality. You will be given a set allotment of time to execute various movements, some exclusive to your fighter, to decimate your victim.
Perhaps the koolest feature is the new Kreate-a-Kombatant mode where you can change the appearance, fighting styles, weapon and even some form of custom fatalities for your character!
Issue #154 of Game Informer has an exclusive several page feature of the game. Here is a quick run down of the features mentioned in the article:
At least 60 playable characters, "all the characters from Mortal Kombat fighting history". But they do mention that Motaro may not make the cut. Character select screen is so large that it has to rotate to reveal them all.
Create a Kombatant system for customizable characters.
The Fatalitiy system will be "reinvented," but no elaboration on that yet.
Air Combo system implemented that allows string combos in mid-air.
Throws can now be executed so that you toss the opponent where you want to. This helps with stage deathtraps, making them much more of a threat than before.
Konquest mode is now based off of the Shaolin Monks engine. This will allow the game to much more dynamic and expansive.

Reviews of the X-Arcade™ Trackball are pouring in from all over the place. We will be featuring review's as they come in, just cause we can.
IGN seems to have given it quite a go: "we drew quite a crowd in the office with an impromptu Marble Madness™ tournament."
The results were good: "In the end we were quite please with the X-Arcade Trackball. Fans of the classic games of the 80s would do well to add the unit to their emulation setups, as so many of the old games simply can't be enjoyed and horned with a keyboard or mouse setup, and since it's built to take heavy abuse without a scratch, the Trackball will likely survive just as well as the classic games it plays."
