Do I have to setup anything?

One of the great things about the X-Arcade™ Machine is that it was specifically designed to work immediately without any complicated setup.

Just plug it in, turn on and go!

Competing machines require hours of installation and complicated setup procedures. Since your X-Arcade Machine is powered by a game console, it's incredibly easy for anyone to start playing just by pressing the power button!

Does it work like a regular arcade machine?

The X-Arcade™ Machine is modeled from an industrial-grade, coin-op arcade machine.

We made a number of cosmetic upgrades so the machine would look sexy in a home or place of business, but it uses all the same parts as the machines in your local arcade. No coins are required to start games and everything is controlled from the X-Arcade Tankstick.

Real arcade machines typically cost upwards of $3000-$5000 each and only include a very limited number of games and no flexibility.

You control games just like you would on a regular game system, but use the controls of a real arcade machine. This makes adding new games from your favorite game system as easy as inserting a game disc and pressing the power button.

Can I use it as a MAME™ Cabinet?

With the popularity of MAME™, many people who grew up on the classic arcade games from the 70's and 80's want to relive these games today and your X-Arcade™ Machine is 100% compatible with all versions of MAME™ across all platforms, including PC, Ma™c and Xbox™.

You can just order our base starter arcade and add your own computer yourself.

What is the warranty ?

The X-Arcade™ Machine electronics include a lifetime warranty; the game system, machine and monitor are covered for one year.

Since the X-Arcade™ Machine was designed for home use, all the parts which would ever need servicing or replaced can be done on site by your grandma. Unlike competiting arcade machines, the X-Arcade™ Machine will never need on-site service by a skilled technican.

We focused on making the X-Arcade™ Machine easy to fix. We use an off-the-shelf game system, standard Arcade Monitor and X-Arcade™ Tankstick to power the entire unit. Any of these items can be replaced on site by a non-skilled user.

Where would someone install or use an X-Arcade™ Machine?

Since the X-Arcade™ Machine replicates a real stand-up arcade machine, customers from all walks of life are using in very interesting ways.

In the home, the most common use is in a gameroom, living room or den serving as the centerpiece of the ultimate gaming experience.

Outside the home, the X-Arcade™ Machine can be used in university rec-rooms, service-office waiting rooms, corporate offices, break-rooms and any place you want to add some fun for visitors, guests or employees!

The X-Arcade™ Machine is a great solution due to it's industrial-grade parts and lockable access areas. With your game system safely locked away behind the coin-door, you don't have to worry about anyone stealing anything because the X-Arcade™ Machine was designed to be left out in the open so it can run just like a real arcade game!

Where can I store my games and movies?

Our Chief Gaming Officer came up with a brilliant way to access your games and movies using a simple pulley system attached behind the graphical marquee. Just push up the front of the marquee and access this hidden storage area!

2. Playing Games

What games are included?

Currently, approximately 190 Classic Games are included. View the complete list of games here. This is by far the largest legal collection of classic games available for any arcade machine.

Can I use with my existing games or game system?

The X-Arcade™ Machine 3.0 includes a PS2™ game console and you can immediately play any PS2™ game purchased or rented from a retail store. Just insert the games you own into the disc loader behind the coin-door and you can control the game thru the arcade joysticks or the included game controller. We suggest only using arcade-style games.

You can also connect your computer or game system (Playstation 2™, Dreamcast™, Gamecube™ or Mac™) to the X-Arcade™ Machine and control those games with real arcade controls. When you order, just let us know which system you have and we'll include the special adapters so you can connect to that system.

If you do not specify when you order, you can purchase directly from our site for $19.95/system

If your friends prefer playing certain games with certain types of controllers, the X-Arcade™ Machine supports the option to use either the X-Arcade Arcade Joysticks or your favorite game controller.

Your X-Arcade™ Machine is the most flexible arcade machine available and supports the widest range of games and game systems.

X-Arcade™ is the real thing, everything else is just an imitation.

Can I Play With New Games?

To play new games, simply purchase your favorite PS2™ game and insert into the disc loader.

If you wish to play games from other game systems, you must first purchase the game system/computer and connect inside your cabinet. Then connect to the game console adapter.

Depending on your configuration, various games are loaded from specialty DVD-roms.

Will I be able to use with Xbox 360™?

Yes we've developed a great reputation in the game industry by creating products that you buy once and use forever! It's a simple idea that we take seriously.

We already have adapters for Playstation 3™ and Nintendo Wii™.

Can I get an arcade machine with thousands of games?

If you see an ad for an arcade machine or MAME™ machine claiming it includes THOUSANDS of CLASSIC MAME ARCADE GAMES, it's illegal. You will not get an arcade machine from us which includes thousands of games and any company selling such a machine will not be in business for long.

Very few software publishers today allow their games to be licensed, but we do have relationships with those that do. Our largest partner is Midway Home Entertainment

3. Arcade Machine Features

This is an excellent question---It's essentially same thing.

In fact, the only differences involve cosmetic and electronic upgrades we've made. Specifically--adding storage space for your game systems and games, a keyboard drawer, lockable drawers/doors, adjustable marques and shelving for anything you want to add in the future.

Will you be coming out with different control panels?

Currently, we offer a two player control panel, but are well-ahead of our competition by featuring a "fully-removable" control panel.

This means you have the option of purchasing additional control panels in the future as they are made available to expand your machine to support more players and new types of game play.

You can proceed with purchasing the standard 2 Player configuration now and we will notify all owners of new panels as they are made available. (Currently developing 4 Player and a 2 Player With Trackball.) You can even design your own custom control panel and attach to your X-Arcade™ Machine

The joysticks used in the X-Arcade Machine are industrial-grade (8/4 way) tested to work for 5,000,000 pushes.

They can be used for old-school arcade games or current generation games. These are the same components used in arcades throughout the US, Asia and Europe.

*We include replacement parts so you'll never experience any downtime!

The design of the X-Arcade™ Machine was structured to make it extremely easy to service. In most cases, you'll be able to easily fix the problem with the supplied replacement parts.

-If the controller itself fails, it's removable and replaceable on-site by anyone WITHOUT technical experience. Unplug and change, very simple.

-You can remove the game system and audio speaker system in a few minutes and change out with a replacement supplied by Xgaming.

-The monitor itself should only be replaced by a trained expert, due it's exposed power board.

Included inside the machine is a 27" Industrial-Grade VGA monitor. Don't be fooled by arcade machines using tiny 21" Computer monitors or even those brave enough to use a television as the main display.

Real arcade machines use this 27" Industrial-Grade VGA monitor because it's the only display type capable of properly showcasing classic games and next generation games.

We also include an adapter to connect any game system to this VGA monitor.

4. Shipping Questions

Your X-Arcade™ Machine will ship from Chicago, IL via freight. It's pre-assembled and ready-to-use.

We ship your X-Arcade Tankstick in a separate shipment on the palette, so you do have to connect the X-Arcade Tankstick to the machine directly yourself.

You can arrange to pickup the unit to eliminate shipping costs, just place your order then reply to your order confirmation email with requested pickup date.

How does is ship ?

Your X-Arcade™ Machine ships on a palette via truck-freight, pre-assembled and ready to use. The entire bundle weights approximately 400LBS, so make sure to have a dolly and friend there to get inside your house.

For $485 the freight company can bring upstairs/downstairs inside house or building. There are special requirements for where and how inside delivery is made, this will be arranged by phone before your machine is shipped.

Your X-Arcade™ Machine ships on a palette and we suggest you have one-two friends (just buy em' some beer) and a furniture dolly ready to pickup at your door from the trucking company.

*There are wheels on the back of the machine so you can tilt and push around from room-to-room.

You can also choose "inside delivery" option. You should still have those free beers ready for your driver, he'll work much harder with a reward.

How long till it ships?

Your X-Arcade™ Machine is high quality furniture, but if you place your order today--it will usually ship within 1-2 business days.

If your X-Arcade™ Machine arrives damaged in anyway, please save all the packing box materials and if possible, take some digital shots of the damage for us.

We will handle replacing the damaged part at our expense, but we'd like proof of the damage so we can beat the delivery driver with a metal rod and make sure it doesn't happen again.
